RecPlex Programs

Our introductory, instruction-based program, Little Flag Football League, focuses on teaching the fundamentals of football in a fun and engaging environment. Participants will develop essential skills and learn the rules of the game, all while enjoying themselves. Programs require parent involvement to enhance the learning experience.

Little Hoopers is a coed basketball league designed for children 4-7 years old. Teams will practice 15-20 minutes, followed by a game each week. Participants will be taught the basic fundamentals of basketball while learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.

“Dodge, dip, dive, duck and dodge!” Dodgeball fun awaits. Join the coed dodgeball program, where each week you’ll explore different game styles and pick-up helpful tips. This program is the perfect way to enjoy yourself while developing teamwork, socialization and sportsmanship skills. Registration includes a t-shirt.

Join us for Wicked on Ice where good and wicked witches come together on the rink. Skate to iconic songs and dress in your most magical Oz-inspired attire. Wicked: For Good (Part 2) is flying into theaters in November, and while you won’t be watching the movie with us, you will get to celebrate in spellbinding style!

Designed for recreational skaters of all ages and skill levels, this program focuses on progression through the Learn to Skate USA Basic Skills curriculum. Each session combines 30 minutes of structured instruction with 30 minutes of free practice. Instructors actively evaluate each skater’s progress throughout the session to identify advancement opportunities. Upon completion of registration, skaters will be assigned to lesson times. This program boasts a 12:1 sturent-0to-insturctor ration. Ice skate rentals are included in the cost of registration.

Pickleball is a fun, social game accessible to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. it’s simple rules allow for fast-paced competition. Leagues run for 8 weeks, featuring best of three matches each week, with games won by the first team to reach 11 points with a 2-point lead. Leagues are offered in men’s, women’s and coed format with social, intermediate and competitive levels.

Have you always dreamed of driving the Zamboni? The RecPlex Zamboni Driving Experience is a crash course in all things Zamboni, which includes an opportunity to take one for a spin on the ice. This one-hour class is designed for adults with a valid driver’s license to learn fun facts about the Zamboni, how to operate and drive a Zamboni, and tour the facility. Space is limited, so book your Zamboni Driving Experience quickly for your chance to drive our Zamboni and learn to we create and maintain the ice at the RecPlex.

Little Kickers Soccer League provides a fantastic coed league experience. Each week includes a 15-minute practice followed by a game, focusing on fun, learning, and the importance of teamwork, socialization, and sportsmanship. Each player receives a reversible jersey with registration.

Join Mike Born, former ISU basketball player and current Director of College Scouting for the Indiana Pacers, for the annual Holiday Hoops Basketball Camp at the RecPlex! This 4-day camp will include teaching the fundamentals of the game, competitive drills, a 3-on-3 tournament and daily full-court games in a fun, energetic environment. Registration includes a t-shirt.
